Through the pandemic, on-line connection has become so important, and has expanded educational access across the globe.

 

Rishma has been fortunate to be able to provide various workshops on-line to a variety of organizations:

  • Child Care Resource & Referral (CCRR)
  • YMCA
  • Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Care Society
  • Ismaili Women's Cancer Support Group
  • Faces of the Heart

 

Topics include:

  • "I'm Stressed, Are You?" - a workshop for child care providers (can be adapted for any adult audience) to be able to recognize and manage their own stress in order to provide optimum loving care to the children they serve and support
  • "Recognizing Stress in Children and How You Can Help"  - aimed at child care providers to increase their knowledge of how stress presents in children 
  • "Managing Change - Life Beyond Cancer" - presented to a cancer support group for Ismaili women 
  • "The Power of Our Thoughts" - a deeper dive into the connection between our thoughts and our stress 
  • "Emotions - Reason or Random?" - a deeper dive into the connection between our emotions and our stress
